My Crazy Patch Pincushions

This is my gift to my very good friend Wilma... I made it last year, and gave it to her for Christmas. I have recycled old CDs for the base, covered one with wool-felt. The top is a peice of crazy-patch and I have embroidered it with seam treatments... practice for the RR I've entered into for this year. There is a wonderful tutorial from Ivory Blush Rose -Here the link to it, for the instructions to make yourself one...

Looks so whimsical and so lovely...
And such a novel way to use up cd's...

Hi,

I have scanned your blog many times and finally got my Google account fixed so that I could follow not only your blog but others. I love your blog and as soon as I get mine setup and going, I will let you know and hope that you will also follow me. I also am a quilter and am learning CQ and improving my embroidery, sewing, quilting and SRE skills as I have done these many years ago and have to refresh my stitching. Thanks for your blog.
